Kidney Transplant Surgeries in Pakistan, Best Kidney Transplant Center
He said that in second Stage Pims hospital will start liver transplant surgeries in the hospital to serve the patients. Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) started again kidney transplant surgery at the hospital after gap of 6 years. A team of neurologists surgeons included Urologist Prof Dr Musharraf ali, Prof Dr Sajid Mumtaz and Dr Khalid participated in the transplant surgery of 25-year patient Abdul Waheed.Prof Dr Tanveer Khaliq, Prof Iqbal Memon, Dr Rana Imran and Dr Sohail Tanveer were also part of medical team. A family member of patient Abdul Waheed had donated the kidney to the renal failure patient. While Talking to media, Executive Director of PIMS Dr Amjad Mehmood said that another kidney transplant surgery will be conducted continuously with the patient needs. He also added the present management of the hospital will continue transplant surgeries keeping in view the burden of Large number of patients.
